The design process covers the full program of the building. Living square footage, open concept barndominium layout vs. defined rooms, bedroom and bathroom count, kitchen placement, entry points, shop or garage bay dimensions, ceiling height in the living area vs. the work space, mechanical room location, and how the exterior of the building sits on the land. Getting these decisions made on paper before construction starts is what keeps a build on schedule.
Custom barndominium design on the Front Range also means engineering for local conditions. Colorado Springs sits above 6,000 feet. Snow loads, wind exposure, and the freeze depth in El Paso County all factor into how we design the roof, the structure, and the foundation. A building that's right for central Texas is not automatically right for the Front Range, and we design accordingly.
We manage the full construction process from permit application through final walkthrough. El Paso County has its own permitting requirements for residential metal building construction, and we handle that process so you don't have to figure it out yourself.
